Compliance
This describes how a lead is produced on our sites.
First-party origin
Leads are generated on websites we own and operate. We do not buy lists and we do not resell third-party data.
Qualification
The consumer answers the qualification questions configured for that vertical, then enters their own name, email, phone number and ZIP code. Required questions cannot be skipped, and answers are checked against the configured options.
Consent
A consent disclosure is displayed on the contact step, before the consumer submits. It states that the businesses we match them with may contact them at the phone number and email address they provided, including by automated means and text message, and that consent is not a condition of purchase.
Validation
Every submission is validated on our server, independently of the browser: name, email format, US phone number format and US ZIP code format are all checked before a lead is accepted.
Duplicate protection
A submission whose email address or phone number already appears on a lead created for the same site within the previous 24 hours is flagged as a duplicate rather than treated as a new lead.
Record keeping
Each lead is stored with its timestamp, the site and quiz it came from, the answers given, the entry page, the referrer and any campaign parameters present on the link the consumer followed.
